Gerald Jennings (34) was wrongfully arrested by Gardai in December 2012. The court had heard that as a result of his abusive treatment at the hands of Gardaí, including being pepper-sprayed in the eyes three times assault etc, Mr Jennings was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress.

It took the justice department 7 years to settle this case, after they destroyed another innocent persons life
